tonight - another "last"
So, I'm sitting here - it's too late - and there's nothing that I really have to do. I should go to bed. But, I know that sleep doesn't matter much right now. I'm not in the mood to care about sleep. Now granted, tomorrow I might be in the mood to care about sleep - but right now - it's not on the mind.
I say that tonight is another "last" for me. It's the last time that I'm going to have a "night before Thanksgiving break or any break for that matter." That might sound stupid. And you might think, "It's the last time any senior is having their last night before Thanksgiving break." Whatever. But this is my last break. I know that I have a Christmas break. But my Christmas break doesn't end...
Actually, it does end. I t will end when I start my job. Whenever and wherever that is. It's just an odd thing to think about. It's making me think more and more about my last couple weeks here at Geneva. It's hard to believe that it was 3 1/2 years ago that I started as a freshman. It's hard to believe how it all happened that I'm finishing early. I just don't get it.
God amazes me. He makes me laugh. It's like, He knew all along that I was going to graduate early. He has that job lined up for me. And there is special reason as to why I needed to be finished early. I don't understand it now...but I will. And that's exciting to me.
I'll be talking with Mark again tomorrow. He's the priest at the church in Florida. I'm really looking forward to getting to speak with him again. It'll be good. I pray that God would just completely bless it. And also that He would completely speak to me about where He wants me. All I want to do is His will. And it's hard when you're not sure what exactly that is. But - all will be well.
I guess I should go. I have to wake up early for my chemistry test - and then I have to finish packing - clean up the apartment a little - then pack up the car - then talk with Mark on my way home. I'm excited for Thanksgiving. It's always a fun holiday in my house. Happy Thanksgiving all!
Prayer Requests:
* My cousin Mary - stress
* Job - Florida and whatever else God has out there
* Wisdom
* My last 24 days before school's out f-o-r-e-v-e-r-! :)
* My parents - wisdom with how to deal with letting me move where God wants me
peace all & give thanks,
~Jenna
