wow - twilight
OK - so, it has been quite some time since I've written a book review - but I can't hold out any longer...especially now that I've read the Twilight series.

Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer, is the beginning of a four book saga about, what else but, love. While Meyer tells her story, she speaks through 17-year old Bella, a high school student junior that has just moved to a new town to live with her father. During her first day at her new school, she encounters Edward. What she doesn't know during their first encounter is that Edward is different from other 17-year olds. That's because he's been 17 for 90 years. He is a vampire.

And from there, the story takes off. Through out the next three books, New Moon; Eclipse; and the forthcoming Breaking Dawn, Bella and Edward's romance is laid out. Through many trials and tribulations including a crazed "hunter" trying to track down Bella and a crazed female vampire seeking revenge, our couple also deals with young love, where their feelings actually lie as well as jealousy, heartache, and the struggle for what is good and right. It is an incredible story that will captivate you immediately.

On another note regarding Twilight, Summit Entertainment is bringing the book to theaters this upcoming December. Bella and Edward will be brought to life for this film with a very good chance at recreating the following 3 books into film. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited. If any of you know me well, you know how much I love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Let's just say - my love of those don't even compare to my love for Twilight. And that's saying something.

That's all.
