serious - nonsense

Ok - so a couple weeks ago I was listening to the radio on my way into work. The station that I listen to has a morning show that is absolutely hysterical. Though I will say that I find myself questioning a lot of what comes out of their mouths. Anyway, that's not the point.

Somehow, the hosts got onto the subject of Bill Clinton. They were talking about when Clinton lied under oath and all that. Anyway, one of the hosts said, "When Clinton lied, nobody died." His point was basically that he didn't understand what the big deal was that Clinton lied.

I was sitting in my car thinking, "Are you kidding me?" Honestly - it's no wonder why our country is so messed up! If we have people in our great United States that actually believe that it's ok for our President, of all people, to lie under oath and completely disregard LAW - it makes sense why people have no regard for anything except themselves. It completely dumbfounds me. How can we have a justice system that works if our own President - who is supposed to be the Commander in Chief and all that - sluffs it off?

I guess I was just at a loss for words when I heard what these radio hosts were saying.

What do you think? Do you think it's a big deal that Clinton lied and got away with it? Or do you agree with the radio hosts were saying that it's not a big deal because it's not like anyone died?

peace,
