anxiety, speed - & andy roddick playing tennis

So, I'm watching Andy Roddick play the semi-finals of the Australian Open. He's killing native Australian Leyton Hewitt. It's kinda sad. It's the first set. Andy's already winning 4-1. I just can't imagine being that good at tennis! He just served a 141 mph ball. And that's not even his fastest! That's crazy.

Anyway - I'm always amazed by his talent. And I realize more and more how much I miss playing tennis. I'll gladly play - I just never have anyone to play with. sad.

So - I'm flying down to Florida next saturday with my mom. We're going apartment hunting. I need to find an apartment and also need to do some business stuff for my new job! I want to start March 1st. So - this time next month - I'll hopefully be on my way to Florida. Acutally - I'll hopefully already be there. There's so much to get done. I don't even want to think about it - and yet I have to.

I'm so excited to get down to Florida. I'm excited to start working with the kids. I'm excited to get into my office and make it mine. I'm excited to begin this new time in my life. It's all so - for lack of a better word - exciting!!

Alright - my soaps are about to come on - and Andy's now up 6-3 at the start of the second set. And I need to pack - my mom and I are heading up to my aunt's house this weekend for my cousin's birthday! HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY ABBEY!!
