whoa - this is big

So, this is going to be a short post. I'm tired, I've had a long day, and it's fall break...I shouldn't be tired.

So, I got a call from Gil yesterday. Gil is the youth minister at Church of the Advent in Birmingham, Alabama. That's the church in Alabama that I'm being considered for a position. Anyway, Gil called me to ask me if I would like to visit the church some time soon so that I would be able to get a better idea of what the church is like. So, I'm going to Alabama on the 26th of October (9 days from now), to visit the church for a couple days! How crazy is that?

Not only that, but a parent from the youth group is calling me tomorrow to ask me some questions and such. I had no idea that all of this would happen so quickly. It is 2 months from today until I take my last final at Geneva. That is such a wonderful thing! It's definitely exciting to think about being finished with college. But, it's also a completely different thing to think about finishing college and having a job and living on your own. Whoa.

Prayer Requests:
* Alabama - everything that goes along with that!
* Wisdom and Discernment - I want to follow God and not my will
* My Leanne - That her back would be healed
* Peace

Thanksgiving:
* God's forgiveness and grace - Praise Him for the amazing things He has done in my life and the ways that He has given me His abounding grace and how He has poured out His forgiveness upon me. Praise Him!
